Zoom Lesson FAQ

Do Zoom lessons work?

Yes—As long as the audio and learning space is workable, remote lessons are highly effective and the ideal choice for many students. In my experience, a good student-teacher fit is by far the most important factor.

Are in person lessons better?

Not necessarily. Aside from the convenience and time-saving benefits of remote learning, I find that many students are more comfortable with playing guitar in a familiar environment at home.

Is my child old enough for online lessons?

Most likely yes. If your child did reasonably well with online classrooms during the pandemic, they will have a great time engaging one-on-one.

What kind of setup is required?

Students simply need basic computer/tablet access and a well-lit space. Zoom is easy to run on most systems.
